How do I Pay?
We accept Cash, Card or Cheque
Will I need to pay a deposit?
In some instances, Yes. This is normally during busy periods or long stays, which is 20%.
When can I drop my dog off/pick up?
Our opening times for drop offs and collections are between 8-10am & 4-6pm.
If I drop my dog off in the morning and pickup during an afternoon, how will I be charged?
What should I bring?
The vaccination documents, any medication, a homely blanket/treats/toys are optional but nothing big like crates. We provide all bedding, bowls & food.
My dog is on medication is this ok?
Yes, we often get dogs that need daily medication, we’ll just require written instructions on the administration of them.
Do I need to bring food?
No, we provide food however if your dog is on a special diet or you don’t wish to change their diet please bring their food, clearly marked with portion sizes.
What do I do when I arrive?
Come into the reception and ring the bell, one of the team will greet you.
My dog is nervous/aggressive to other dogs can they still stay?
Of course! We’ll cater to your dogs’ needs i.e. exercise, mental stimulation & Chromatherapy.
What is Chromatherapy?
A-Its light therapy, where different light colours have different affects. We predominantly use Greens, Blues, Indigo and Violate to encourage calmness, balance and relaxation in stressed or anxious dogs.
What if my dog falls sick or gets injured during their stay?
We will notify you immediately and tell you of our plan. If we can’t reach you we’ll follow our own Standard Operating Procedures and refer to the form that you filled out. Our insurance will cover vet bills where blame falls to us (neglect), examples; your dog is bitten by another, injured by our infrastructure (kennels, fencing), illness through contamination. We do not cover incidents/accidents caused by toys, beds/bedding, food (choking), injuries whilst being exercised and anything out of little Oaks Boarding Kennels control. We strongly recommend each dog is insured. Clarification should be sought prior to any booking made.
Where will my dog be walked?
In our fully enclosed field as a small group or on their own as a one to one, depending on your preferences.
My dog has been recently poorly can they still stay?
If they’ve suffered illness within the last 24hrs we can not accept them, if it has been within the last 7 days we’d be grateful if you’d highlight this.
